FRESH FLOWERS is a company with Romanian juridical form and Romanian and Dutch share capital. The company was set-up in September 2005 and it has as shareholders a Romanian individual person (Teodorescu Gheorghe) and a Dutch company (Koers Beheer BV). The company is specialized in production of cut flowers, the most important ones being the tulips, lilies, flags, lisianthus and other flower species. The activity place was a greenhouse on the 5-7 Vitan Barzesti, Bucharest, Sector 4, for 3 years.

Because the greenhouse has more than 40 years, the directing climate factors couldn’t have been made at most favorable parameters for the growing and development of the plants. The obtained results weren’t so good, comparing with the plant material quality and advanced technologies applied. We are mentioning that the company produces only with Dutch plant material, witch biological quality is certified by European Union norms. Although we are using a very old greenhouse, the company had obtained important sums of money in 2006, but also in the first months of 2007. This profit had helped us to buy land of 3,15 ha in Lehliu Gara city and one ha of greenhouse in Holland.

The company’s strategy is to offer fresh flowers made in Romania, witch have a period of keeping of more than 5 days. We can deliver flowers from many species, all over the year, ensuring an attractive variety of colors and combinations of flowers. For the development of our activity, we try to promote more than one new opening market, starting with the supermarket (e.g. METRO in spring holidays, when we had a great success). Now we are making efforts in introducing this business, witch has a great success in western countries, in others shops and also in gas stations. The advantages of flowers trade in shops (supermarket, hypermarket) and in the gas stations are: - the shops and the gas stations have very good keeping conditions in the winter, but also in the more hot periods (spring and autumn); - in shops and gas stations enter a significant number of clients who’s ways can lead to friends, school, bank or in other places where is recommended to go with a bunch of flowers; - the shops and the gas stations have almost every time non stop schedule; - in shops and gas stations usually the clients large sums of money and paying a bunch of flowers is not a problem; - the shops and the gas stations are in accessible places, which are also in the winter the first ones cleaned of snow. For the exposition of our products we have made a very useful stand of which dimension can be adapted according with the space for this activity.

We must say that the delivery time will be made acording to the optimum period for keeping and selling, without being neccessary special places for storing.
